Deye HV Battery Rack for BOS-G Storage Systems
The Deye HV battery rack provides an organised mounting arrangement for a matched BOS-G energy-storage system. It is a mechanical part of the installation, with a different role from the battery modules and control unit. Choosing the correct rack helps the installer plan module placement, cable access and future servicing before the battery equipment arrives.
Confirm the rack format first
The arrangement described in this listing is for 12 battery modules and one control unit. Confirm the exact rack code against the proposed BOS-G components before ordering. A rack that looks similar or uses a familiar equipment width does not automatically provide the correct supports, fixing points or cable space. The full system reference contains several battery configurations, so distinguish the rack dimensions from those of an assembled battery installation.

A rack is not a battery capacity
An empty rack has no usable kWh and does not set the system’s electrical output. Stored energy comes from the fitted battery modules; operating voltage and compatibility depend on the approved system configuration. Filling a rack is therefore not simply a matter of choosing as many modules as will fit. Have the designer specify the module count, control unit and inverter relationship together. This is especially important in a high-voltage system, where physical capacity and permitted electrical configuration answer different questions.
Reserve working space around the equipment
Measure the installation position and access route before delivery. Consider doorways, corners, floor condition and how heavy components will be brought into place. The finished installation needs service access and cable routing space as well as room for the rack itself. Ask the installer to confirm the loaded weight and support requirements for the actual populated configuration. Do not plan the floor loading from the empty-rack weight or from an ambiguous weight shown on an older product listing.

Identify what is included in the quotation
Request a component list covering the rack frame, shelves or supports, fixing hardware and any other rack-specific parts. Battery modules, the high-voltage controller, power links and communication leads should be separately identified where required. This makes it possible to compare a rack-only price with a complete battery-system quotation without confusing the two. It also allows the installer to check that the required mechanical and electrical components will arrive together.
Allow for access after commissioning
Position the rack so that labels, controls and service points remain accessible according to the equipment instructions. Avoid using the surrounding space as general storage once the system is installed. Keep the final configuration and component serial records with the project documentation. If expansion is planned, ask the designer to review both the permitted battery arrangement and the space for any additional equipment. Empty positions should not be treated as unconditional permission to add modules later.

Frequently asked questions
Are batteries included? Treat this as a rack accessory unless the written offer explicitly includes modules. Does it include the high-voltage controller? Confirm the component schedule. Can it hold another brand’s battery? Do not assume compatibility from rack width alone. Which dimensions should I use? Use the drawing for the exact supplied rack code and allow the required clearances. Will a larger rack increase runtime? Runtime changes only when a compatible storage configuration is installed and commissioned; the rack itself does not store electricity.
Get a system-specific quotation
Send Solar Deity the exact product required, your existing inverter or battery details, the installation location and the loads you want to support. Include any planned expansion and the desired backup period. Ask for a written component list that identifies equipment, accessories and installation scope, so that prices can be compared on the same basis. Contact Solar Deity to discuss the configuration.
