Solis 50kW: commercial solar, storage and backup
The Solis S6-EH3P50K-H is a 50kW three-phase high-voltage hybrid inverter for commercial and industrial solar-plus-storage projects. It brings PV generation, compatible high-voltage battery storage and site AC power management together in one inverter platform. This listing is specifically for the 50kW model, not a choice of power ratings. Batteries, PV modules, external protection and installation are specified separately in the project quotation.

- 50kW rated AC output · three-phase 380/400V
- 4 MPPT trackers · up to 8 PV strings
- 150–800V compatible lithium-ion battery operating range
- IP66 enclosure · 7-inch LCD · Bluetooth and app interface
Designed around your business load profile
For a 50kW commercial installation, the first step is understanding the site’s daytime consumption, peak demand and essential loads. A warehouse, workshop, agricultural facility or other business may use solar energy directly during operating hours and store surplus energy for later use. The value of storage depends on the tariff, load profile and battery size. Solar Deity can help scope a project around measured requirements; this page does not promise a fixed saving, payback period or backup duration.
4 MPPT trackers for a planned commercial PV array
The S6-EH3P50K-H provides 4 maximum-power-point trackers and up to 8 input strings. The manufacturer recommends up to 100kW of PV array capacity and specifies 96kW maximum usable PV input power for this model. These are DC-side figures, not a higher continuous AC output rating. Separate roof orientations and string groups can be evaluated against the tracker arrangement. String open-circuit voltage at the lowest design temperature, operating voltage and current must remain within the inverter limits.
High-voltage battery integration
This is an HV battery inverter, with a specified battery operating range of 150–800V. It is not a 48V or 51.2V low-voltage battery inverter. Two battery ports provide a maximum charge/discharge current specification of 2 × 70A; the two limits must not be treated as the allowable current on each individual port. Battery compatibility also depends on the approved battery model, BMS communication, firmware and permitted configuration. A matching voltage range alone does not establish compatibility, including with Pylontech equipment.
Power rating is not stored energy
The 50kW rating describes inverter power. Battery energy is measured separately in kWh and determines how long a supported load may operate, together with usable state of charge, reserve settings, battery power limits and conversion losses. No battery capacity is included in this inverter listing. For backup planning, identify essential circuits and their running and starting demands before selecting the battery system. The inverter cannot deliver its rated power from a battery that has insufficient discharge capability.

Backup and generator integration
The published backup transfer specification is <10ms. Short-duration backup overload capability is 1.6 × rated power for 2 seconds; it is not a continuous output rating. A generator input rating of 50kW is listed for this model. The permitted operating modes, neutral arrangement, switching, protection and generator controls must be established in the installation design. Motor starting and sensitive loads require individual assessment. Transfer figures should not be interpreted as a guarantee that every connected load will remain unaffected.
Plan expansion as a complete system
Parallel operation and AC- or DC-coupled project arrangements require manufacturer-approved design and controls. Adding inverters is not simply a matter of connecting additional output cables: metering, communications, protection coordination and switching need to be considered together. Larger arrangements can require additional switching equipment. This page specifies one inverter only; the quotation should identify any external controllers, meters, switchgear, communications accessories and commissioning work required for the chosen system.
Installation, cooling and access
The IP66 enclosure has intelligent fan cooling. The unit measures 530 × 880 × 290mm (W × H × D) and weighs 73kg. Plan a suitable mounting structure, safe handling, cable access, ventilation and the service clearances required by the manual. The published operating temperature range is −25°C to +60°C and maximum operating altitude is 4,000m; these limits do not imply full rated output under every environmental condition. Consult the manufacturer for derating and installation restrictions. IP66 does not permit immersion or installation in unsuitable corrosive environments.

Protection and project compliance
The datasheet lists Type II surge protection on the DC and AC sides. Arc-fault detection is optional and must be confirmed for the supplied configuration. Product protection functions do not replace site earthing, cable protection, isolation and the required installation assessment. A manufacturer-published NRS document is provided below as a reference. Confirm that its scope covers the exact supplied model and revision, and obtain any utility or municipal approvals applicable to the project.

Monitoring and everyday operation
The ZA datasheet lists CAN, RS485 and Ethernet communication, with Wi-Fi, cellular and LAN options. Confirm the supplied communications accessories and network connection in the quotation; do not assume a wireless logger is included. Decide which users need access to live power, battery state, historical energy and alarms. Record communications requirements, network responsibility and commissioning handover in the project scope. Remote monitoring depends on the selected equipment, configuration and connectivity.
