SolaX T-BAT H 5.8 Master Battery
The SolaX T-BAT H 5.8 is the master battery in the Triple Power high-voltage system. It is the starting point for a supported battery configuration, combining stored energy with the master role required by that family. Choose this product when building the corresponding T-BAT system; choose an HV11550 expansion module when extending an already compatible master arrangement.

Why the master matters
The master and expansion products have similar energy ratings, but they perform different jobs. Buying an expansion battery alone does not provide the same starting configuration as buying the master. For a new installation, specify the inverter and master together so that the complete battery voltage range is suitable. The product name on this page identifies the master rather than a complete multi-module storage package.
High-voltage storage, explained
A 115.2V module belongs to a different electrical class from a 48V or 51.2V battery. It should not be selected as a substitute simply because another battery also stores around 5kWh. The complete T-BAT arrangement and inverter compatibility determine the connection. Module count affects both the stored energy and the system voltage; more storage is therefore a system design choice, not just an extra box.

Plan useful evening storage
This master can form the foundation of a system intended to shift surplus daytime solar energy into the evening. Begin with the appliances that should remain available, then separate their simultaneous power demand from their total energy use. The battery stores energy; the inverter determines the AC supply characteristics. A high energy rating alone does not establish whether a motor, pump or cooking appliance can start or run.
Allow for reserve and charging
The advertised 5.8kWh class is a nominal module rating. It is not a promise that every installation delivers that entire amount at the sockets. Backup reserve, conversion losses and the permitted discharge window reduce the energy available for routine use. Leave enough solar generation or another configured charging source to refill the battery after the expected overnight use.
Match the installed revision
SolaX documentation covers more than one revision of this family. The shared electrical values above are taken from the linked T-BAT manual; revision-specific operating limits and permitted inverter combinations must match the supplied unit. When expanding later, provide the existing master label and module revision so that an apparently similar replacement is not selected by name alone.
Master or expansion?
If you are starting the supported system, review the master arrangement with your installer. If the system already has the correct master and needs additional capacity, see the HV11550 expansion product instead. Solar Deity can use the inverter model and intended configuration to help identify the appropriate item before the order is completed.
